DataLase, originator of the award winning DataLase® process, announces the appointment of Olaf Jepsen as its new European Sales Manager. In his new role, Olaf will be in charge of promoting the revolutionary DataLase laser imaging solutions throughout mainland Europe.
As the new European Sales Manager, Olaf will focus on establishing credibility for the DataLase products through effective communication with current and prospective customers in order to optimize the company’s market share and help achieve its strategic objectives. Olaf will also be responsible for achieving successful market penetration of DataLase’s existing product range as well as initiate targeted introductions of new products.
Olaf brings to DataLase a depth of knowledge of the European laser industry; with over 20 years’ experience in managerial sales positions for companies such as 4G Systems GmbH and Altec GmbH. He has a proven track record of quickly building a strong relationship with customers, achieving significant business deals and addressing problems before they occur. Olaf is a highly experienced individual having worked in multi-national environments, in addition to training and managing people from various technical and cultural backgrounds.
DataLase works with many of the world’s leading printing and packaging, pharmaceutical, and FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) companies to provide a wide range of innovative mass customization solutions across a diverse range of sectors including product identification and anti-counterfeiting. The innovative DataLase process uses a laser reactive coating, which undergoes a color change reaction from white to black when imaged with a low powered laser system.
